The four members of Brooklyn post-punk outfit Pill — vocalist/bassist Veronica Torres, drummer Andrew Spaulding, saxophonist Benjamin Jaffe, and guitarist Jon Campolo —exchanged sounds before they exchanged words. Jaffe walked into their very first practice session in 2014 playing saxophone, prompting Campolo to respond on guitar.
