Lexie Liu or Liu Boxin (Chinese: 刘柏辛; born December 21, 1998) is a multilingual Chinese singer and songwriter.
In 2015, Lexie Liu participated in K-pop Star 5, a South Korean reality TV competition series. She competed as a member of the 4-person girl group “Mazinga S,” which came in fourth place. In July 2018, she participated in The Rap of China and finished fourth place, where she first performed her song “Mulan.”
Lexie Liu released her first original single, “Coco Made Me Do It,” in January 2017. In June 2018, she released her single “Like a Mercedes.” In October 2018, she released “Sleep Away.” “Like a Mercedes,” “Sleep Away,” and “Mulan” all appear on her debut album 2029, which she released a few days after “Sleep Away” in October 2018. In December 2018, her new single "Nada" was globally released. “Sleep Away,” “Nada,” and “Mulan” appeared on her international debut EP 2030 (released February 2019), as well as “Strange Things” and “Bygone” from 2029. She released the single “OK, OK, OK” in September 2019. She followed with the album Meta Ego in December 2019. In January 2021, she released her EP Gone Gold. In November 2022, Lexie Liu released “Fortuna” and “Magician,” which were included in her December 2022 album The Happy Star. In November 2023, Lexie Liu released her single “delulu.”
Lexie Liu has appeared as a featured artist on numerous works, most recently on “WYA Remix” by Jay Park and Ningning and “On Clap” from Yuqi’s EP, Yuq1.
Lexie Liu has been nominated for two Golden Melody Awards. She has won two Wave Music Awards, having been nominated for five.
