The band is formed by Ute Osadzinski (vocals, violin, flute, keyboards) and Stef Apfelstedt (keyboards, synths, programming). They debuted in 2000, with Shine in Your Own Light. Their trip-hop is generally soft, chilled, sometimes evidencing upbeat influences, sometimes darkish or nostalgic, but always energetic and poetic.
