Wassermann

Wassermann

Wassermann has been played on NTS in shows including DEBONAIR, featured first on 10 September 2013. Songs played include Dumpfe Töne, Unsichtbare Tänzer (Sog Mix) and W.I.R. (Das Original).

Wassermann is - next to Gas and Studio 1 - Wolfgang Voigt's most wellknown musical project. It sort of evolved out of Voigt's Profan moniker Grungerman that was experimenting with German Schlager and techno.

In 2000, Wassermann had a massive hit with "W.I.R." which at the time got hammered by every reasonable and unreasonable DJ on this planet.

The catchy vocoder hookline delivered the slogan for a whole generation of clubbers: "Wir machen weiter" (We'll go on)
