We had seen his chains dragging eighty miles an hours on the pavement, but I asked him what was the hold up anyhow; and as his semi and career options went up in flames and half a ton of spray paint exploded around us locking us in a semi circle of fire he screamed at me, "Sahn bar row tie!!!" Only five hours later, after the last of the out of county water trucks wheeled back to their tri-state locales did I understand what he meant. "'S on borrowed time."
