Gambletron is Lisa Gamble based out of Montreal, canada. The project started in 2003-as a touring opening act for the band Thundrah, a band she later joined. She is a noise maker that can be found as a band member and collaborator in many other projects. She has been a member or a collaborator of HRSTA, CLUES, THUNDRAH, EVANGELISTA, NIVE NIELSEN, ANNABELLE CHVOSTEK, JEN REIMER, STEVE GODIN, MATANA ROBERTS

GAMBLETRON is a one woman experimental electronic improvisational noise project that has evolved out of creativity poverty and found objects since 2003.

Her music has been described as an sonic stream of conscientiousness belled with various devastating contrasting sonic statements. Its been said to lay somewhere between composition and soundscape. Pretty to punk rock. Her approach is honest with a staunch D.I.Y. ethic. She is a lo-fi hack sound machine creating layers of tonal bliss with hand made obsolete electronics and old crappy gear.

She uses samples, subsonic bass rumbles, contact mics, bowed bike wheels, telephones and styrofoam. Musical saws and musical spatulas. Distortion. Home made synths and circuit bent toys….at times her set can be loop-based and dancey, other times sound-scapish and dreamy. Unlike other experimental projects—Gambletron is quite humorus and very light hearted she can be highly entertaining and believes in acknowledging and incorporating her audience.

Gambletron is also known for her fake soundtracks, sock puppet choirs, and all ages circuit bending workshops.

Gambletron is currently in the studio recording a record as it is an fair attempt at documenting the diverse work she dose. Gambletron is available to play your wedding or bar mitvah.
