Mr. Free has been played on NTS shows including ZULI, with Morph first played on 24 April 2023.

Mr. Free is a politically minded artist inspired by the likes of KRS-1, A Tribe Called Quest and Sizzla. Born in the Bronx, Mr. Free (born as Geoffrey) first expanded on his musical interests by DJ'ing at the University of Maine. After traveling the world, and more specifically after a life altering experience in Oahu, he took on the name of Mr. Free.

His first professional appearance was with Creed's "Weathered" tour. He has continued to open for a myriad of other artists including Talib Kweli, Common, KRS-1, Ghostface Killah, and M-1 from Dead Prez. His first release "Lay-Up Lines: The Mixtape" was made under his "Well-Rooted Music" Label became the foundation for his first album "Writes of Passage."

Currently residing in Tokyo, Japan.
