Warren Elbert Barker (born on April 16, 1923, Oakland, California; died on August 3, 2006, Greenville, South Carolina) was an American composer, arranger and conductor for motion pictures and television. In his early stage, he also played reeds, for example with Woody Herman in Los Angeles in 1947. Barker attended University of California at Los Angeles and later studied composition with Mario Castelnuovo Tedesco and Henri Pensis .
