There appear to be several bands called The Summits
1) In 1963, "The Summits" released "He's an Angel/Hanky Panky" (Harmon 10117, which was a Bright Tunes production).
The B-side was the well-known Ellie Greenwich/Jeff Barry song that was a hit for The Raindrops and Tommy James & The Shondells (it was possibly the first recording of the song to be released).
