Plex started emceein back in 1993 and has been grindin hard as a lyricist ever since. Very passionate about his craft, he's mastered the art of diabolical wordplay and rhyme schemes that switch up at a moments notice. Raised in the midwest with influences from the east coast, west coast, midwest, and the south, Plex has his own style, mixing his lyrically potent wordplay with beats of all types….from east coast boom bap, to west coast funk…from mainstream to backpacker…He is truely a versatile emcee. Plex has recorded tracks with Tremayne of Straight Vodka Entertainment, PM and Tripp Marxx of PK21 Productions, NTT of Legacy records, Resonance (his partner in rhyme in his group Tandem Dynamics), Skrewz Looze, Crazy Cuban, Augusta Wind, Plurality, the newly founded Martyr's Brigade Collective which is comprised of some of the illest emcees that the US has to offer, as well as numerous collabs, mixtape, and album appearances. He's currently in the stages of finishing his debut solo album "Sodium Pentathol: The Truth Chronicles". Set to be released in 2007, the album promises to be a lyrical masterpiece.. With production from Tremayne of SVE, PM and Mitzzo of PK21 Productions, The Infamous Beat Kleever, DJ Purify, El Indigo Globo, Webb of NNVA Productions, Dex Aquarieen, Origenal Music, as well as himself and many others. Plex will also be working on the soon to be released Fiyah Hazid sophmore album scheduled to be released in early 2007.
Plex is also the pseudonym of electronic musician Kevin Wilkins, who is most well known for his releases on Blame's 720 Degrees drum & bass label.
