Madeleine Cocolas has been played on NTS shows including SKYAPNEA, with A Memory, Blown Out first played on 27 June 2022.

Madeleine Cocolas is an Australian composer and producer who creates predominantly post classical and ambient instrumental music. Her work moves between lush soundscapes to experimental electronics, field recordings and solo piano.

Madeleine has released solo music through various international labels including Room40/Someone Good (Australia), Bigo & Twigetti (UK), Superpang (Italy), Self Center Records (US), 1631 Recordings (UK) and Futuresequence (UK), and her music has been broadcast and streamed internationally. Her critically acclaimed album “Ithaca” (2020) was named by NPR (the National Public Radio of the America) as one of their albums of the month on their influential All Songs Considered program shortly after its release.

Madeleine previously worked as a Music Supervisor, where she sourced and licensed music for a number of award winning Australian television programs, including the International Emmy-nominated shows 'Please Like Me' and 'Dance Academy'.

She holds a Masters of Music Composition from the Queensland University of Technology in Australia and is a casual academic in the music department at the University of Queensland.
