fromis_9 (Hangul: 프로미스나인) is a South Korean girl group under Pledis Entertainment, formed by CJ E&M through the 2017 reality show Idol School. The group is composed of eight members: Lee Saerom, Song Hayoung, Park Jiwon, Roh Jisun, Lee Seoyeon, Lee Chaeyoung, Lee Nagyung, and Baek Jiheon. Originally a nine-piece group, Jang Gyuri departed the group on July 31, 2022.

On November 29, fromis9 performed their predebut single titled "Glass Shoes" at the 2017 Mnet Asian Music Awards in Japan. The song was released as a digital single the following day. On January 24, 2018, fromis9 officially debuted and released their first mini-album To. Heart and title track "To Heart". The album peaked at #4 on the Gaon Album Chart. Since then, they have released multiple chart topping EPs and singles throughout the years, achieving their first music show win in September of 2021 on SBS MTV's The Show with "Talk & Talk".
