Marieke has been played on NTS shows including Dance Music Show w/ Bell Towers, with Je Sors (Stepping Out) first played on 21 October 2017.

After her participation on Dutch Idol 2003, she had her breakthrough with the song "Just be Happy", which reached the top ten in her homecountry. Her 2nd release, "I'm a fool", reached #22 in the Dutch Charts. Unfortunately this was her last solo-single.

In 2005, she incorporated a song with actress and sister Aukje van Ginneken. The song, "Be where you wanna", reached #23 in the Dutch charts. After this cooperation Marieke paid herself on the motherhood. Though, she still…
