Gerry Cott has been played on NTS shows including Séance Centre, with Alphabet Town first played on 27 April 2022.

Gerry Cott was one of the six co-founders of The Boomtown Rats, born on October 15th, 1954 in Dublin. After some musical and personal differences with the band, he left in June of 1981. In 1982, he released the single Ballad Of The Lone Ranger. 1983, the following year, Pioneers was released. I Left My Hat In Haiti was released in 1984 as a 5-song EP, and up until 2010, when Urban Soundscapes was released, he turned his career away from music, and to animal training (A-Z Dogs/A-Z Animals). To this day he still works with training animals.
