Oceania

Oceania has been played on NTS in shows including Lavender Kite Audio Research Hour w/ Barnaby Bennett, featured first on 31 January 2022. Songs played include Always (Original Mix).

1) Oceania was formed by Sydney-based happy hardcore producers, Chara Cagri Acikgoz and Rebecca Brady in the mid-90s. Oceania wrote produced and engineered their music at Hypersonic Productions in Glebe Point, Sydney. They collaborated with DJs and singers like Kyle Armstrong (DJ Daydream), DJ Ali Omar and Toni T. The best known tune they produced was "Taking Me Higher".

2) Oceania is a New Zealand band which combines Maori music and modern music. The band's lead singer is Hinewehi Mohi. Music is written and performed by Mohi and Jaz Coleman of Killing Joke fame. Visit Hinewehi Mohi's website for more information.

3) Oceania is also an alias of UK Trance producer Jeremy Cordonnier, who has released five singles from different record companies, including Vandit. Visit his myspace page for more info

5) Oceania is a Brazilian rock band formed in 2016 by Udora's and Diesel's former member Gustavo Drummond. The band consists in Gustavo Drummond on vocals and guitars, Daniel Debarry on bass and Tulio Braga on drums. They already launched several music videos on YouTube and a self-titled EP on Spotify. The band released their first album as a new group called "Beneath the Surface" on 31st August 2017 and the second album, called "Dark Matter", on 11st December 2020.
