M(h)aol

M(h)aol has been played on NTS in shows including In Flames, featured first on 30 January 2022. Songs played include Bored Of Men, No One Ever Talks To Us and Laundries.

m(h)aol is a Dublin-based punk band with a real attitude. This band of like-minded souls is keen to bring it's feminist and animal rights messages to the masses. The band is made up of Roisin NicGhearailt [Vocals], Constance Keane [Drums], Sean Nolan [Guitar] and Zoe Greenway [Bass Guitar]. Shortly after forming, the band released the single 'Clementine' in March 2015. The single made headlines due in part to its unorthodox sound but more important the subject matter. The song is based on a letter written to The Times newspaper in the UK by Clementine Churchill (wife of Winston Churchill) as a response to strong anti-suffrage campaigners. The single featured a guest appearance from Girl Band's Dara Kiely and garnered the band much media attention.
