Crystal Geometry is the latest project from underground electronic music veteran, Maxime Fabre. Inspired by Post-Punk, Black Metal and Industrial, the French producer and live artist has returned to his roots, a crossover between the warehouse rave scene of the 90’s and industrial music, mixing Belgian EBM influences with post-modern, modular-engineered Techno.

At its core, the project is centered around an evolving analog modular synth, accompanied by haunting live vocals and abrasive distortion. Fabre’s work as Crystal Geometry exists in a perpetual state of flux, transmitting the impending doom we face in modern society through deathly frequencies. Live performances transpire into an all-out assault on the body, marching through dystopian territories, manipulating sounds into menacing bursts of energy. Equally punishing hybrid and DJ sets have given further scope and context to the alias, building weight throughout Europe and the global circuit.

After an uncomprimising release schedule of high-impact productions, Crystal Geometry signed to Adam X’s pioneering Sonic Groove imprint in late 2018, with the “Red Faith Militia” EP – a ferocious 4-track vinly release that explores the brutalities of the former Eastern Bloc and ruling Communist government. Fabre’s debut on the label was a defining point in the project, soon leading to his second work for Sonic Groove; 2019’s “The Cyber Heresy” EP – a military-grade vinyl continuining a wake of destruction, further refining the lethal strain of EBM-Industrial-Techno that the alias has become synonymous with.
