Jason G is an inveterate multitasker from Baltimore, Maryland. He now revels in sunscreen and loves to sit in unmoving cars.
While attending the California Institute of the Arts he spearheaded the presciently pre-White Stripes LA / NY rock band BIANCA (with a pre-Haunted Graffiti Ariel Pink on bass) and co-hosted the marathon low-fi recording collective "Human Genius" with band-mates Ariel Pink and John Hansel.
Following BIANCA's stereotypical meltdown, he spent several years of isolation in New York City and Baltimore, and began secretly recording and distributing no less than 6 home made albums of liberated schizo-disco under the self-effacing moniker "Super Creep."
No longer content to remain ensconced, he emerged from the Creep chrysalis in early 2006, commingling once again with Ariel Pink and a gaggle of like-minded isolationists to found micro-label Human Ear Music.
He is currently composing music in and out of the Super Creep guise, including a singles series devoted to Suzi Quatro, Nina Hagen and Grace Jones and employing the compositional techniques of French composer Olivier Messiaen.
Other Projects:
Immaculate Conception, with Ariel Pink The Dowry with Andrew S.A. (Vibe Central), Ariel Pink, Geneva Jacuzzi (Bubonic Plague), and Matt Fishbeck (Holy Shit) The Zombie Sharks with Ariel Pink and Geneva Jacuzzi (Bubonic Plague) The Seasonings with Emily Jane (Bubonic Plague) Hep-C(ats) with Courtney Garvin (Bubonic Plague) Preemo with Geneva Jacuzzi (Bubonic Plague)
