Itoiz has been played on NTS shows including Hegoa, with Astelehen Urdin Batean first played on 16 July 2021.

Itoiz are one of the best-known Basque bands outside their homeland. They have released a number of albums, starting with Itoiz in 1978, combining Basque folk music with elements of rock and jazz. For their debut, their style could be called progressive rock, though later albums tend to feature simpler arrangements.
