Igor Almeida is a Master Of Arts degree holder (specialised in sound design), audiovisual artist and owner of The Spiritual Triangles record label, who has been producing electronic music for more than 15 years so far.

It's under the moniker Superalma Project (est. 2014) that the Brazilian producer (living in Portugal) presents his most intimate sound exploration that unfolds itself as a shifting mix of a wide musical spectrum. This is where Igor Almeida surpasses any sound boundaries in order to create a “widespread” almost voluble musical experience.

Superalma Project is a post-genre experimental electronic music project which aims to establish a musical proposal with a strong influence of sound design for film. Its dynamics exist on the border between sound as a textural phenomenon and the musical element as a melodic suggestion. So the instruments are basically tons of programmed or modified samples within granular synthesizers, voice and field recordings, keyboard lines, electronic drums and a variable number of harmonic synthesizers.
