Manao has been played on NTS in shows including Circadian Rhythms w/ LAST JAPAN, ESCHA, MIDWIFE & AUSSCHUSS, featured first on 8 January 2021. Songs played include Electro Phase (False Persona Remix), Floorseats and Pump.

Manao is the project of the multidisciplinary Venezuelan artist Oswaldo Rodriguez.

Born and raised in Maracaibo, Manao started to build his path alongside the city's electronic scene, structuring his community and connecting with others through music. Combining a selection of UK Breakbeats & Detroit/Modern Electro to Jacking Techno, Warehouse Rave, and energized Jungle, he brings a fresh perspective to the dance floor and a unique take on today's underground music scene.

Manao has delivered a convergence of different influences to venues around the globe and is now based in Berlin where he dedicates his time to music production and his dj research, constantly aiming to rescue his heritage and blend it with all the references he has acquired throughout the years.

Apart from his performance, he's currently signed to Dance Trax and has also been featured on influential labels such as Rekids, No Service, NS/A & Jupiter 4. Also, these releases have been supported and played out by DJs such as Dave Clarke, Alienata, Daria Kolosova, Salome, Imogen, VTSS, Mell G, Aloka, Partiboi69, and Craigie Knowes;.

In addition to Djing and producing, Manao is also a part of Program and Control, an electronic music platform and label based between Cologne, Berlin and Brasilia. The label aims to highlight the interlocutions and dissonances between artists from latin america and europe and to bring local scenes to a global projection.
