Barda has been played on NTS in shows including Rachel Grace Almeida, featured first on 30 October 2020. Songs played include Belleza En El Aire (Barda & Sidirum Remix) .

Barda is Cecilia Gebhard. She is a producer, DJ, music teacher and songwriter. Barda produces Latin Downtempo electronic music, which fuses elements from songs, folklore, ambient and electroacoustic music. Her work is conformed by profound beats and melodies. Barda’s Live and DJ sets goes from Downtempo to Afrohouse, from Slow Techno to Organic House and even Proggressive House to NuDisco.

She has curated and produced “Sílice” a Various Artists female compilation integrated by *cis, trans women and non binary music producers from around the world (Fértil Discos 2020). She has also been part of an electronic tribute to Leda Valladares, an important music figure from the argentinean folcloric music scene (Fértil Discos 2019).

Barda has been in Bahidorá 2020’s edition in Mexico; she has been played at Fusion Festival in Germany at Salón de Baile and Sonnendeck stage; she has been part of MUTEK AR 2018; and her showcase was an official selection for WOMEX 2017.

She has also played her music in nightclubs such as Kater Blau and Kantine Am Berghain (Germany), Musicbox (Portugal), Departamento (Mexico) and Crobar (Argentina).

Barda has remixed work for music labels such as Selvamonos (Peru), Wonderwheel Recordings and Wayu (USA), among others. In 2021 she has released the album “Canto Rodado” through Talpa Records (Germany); in 2022 she releases “Paseo Telurico” through her own label called Basalto Records; and, further this year, is going to be out her upcoming album, a release of 10 tracks inspired by argentinean and andean folcloric music merged with electronic textures, beatmaking, synthesis and programming.

She hosts a residency at radio REA (Electronic Radio Argentina) where she broadcasts her music selection and invites other music producers from Argentina and all over the world to show their music on her radio show.
