There are (at least) five female singers and two bands using the stage name "Michelle":

1) MICHELLE is a musical collective based in New York City. Blending R&B, pop, jazz, and indie influences, the six-member group honors these genres with 70s-inspired basslines, driving drum beats, lush synths, and captivating vocals. After celebrating their first year together, MICHELLE has already established itself as an emerging act in New York's music scene. The group's distinct sound is the result of careful production and arrangements by Julian Kaufman and Charlie Kilgore, with vocalists Jamee Lockard, Layla Ku, Sofia D’Angelo, and Emma Lee delivering emotive lyrics and harmonies. 2) German singer Tanja Shitawey (née Hewer) (born February 15, 1972, in Villingen-Schwenningen) represented Germany in the 2001 Eurovision Song Contest with "Wer Liebe lebt" ("To Live for Love").

3) Michelle McManus, from the UK, won Pop Idol in 2003 and is best known for her single "All This Time," released under the name "Michelle."

4) Dutch singer Michelle Courtens participated in the 2001 Eurovision Song Contest, performing "Out on My Own" and placing 18th.

5) Michelle Narine, from Trinidad, released the track "Standing Here All Alone" in 1996 in the UK.

6) Norwegian singer Michelle Purvis performed "Baby Don't Stop the Music" in the Norwegian selection for the 2008 Eurovision Song Contest.
