Java

Java has been played on NTS shows including Giovanna, with Cosmos Chill first played on 13 March 2021.

There are at least 5 artists named "Java" :

a parisian band (http://www.javasite.net/) founded in 2000. Their music mixes hip-hop rythms, accordeon and finely crafted humorous lyrics. They have 3 studio albums ("Hawai", "Safari Croisiere", "Maudits Français") and a live record ("Java sur seine"). In 2006, singer Erwan Seguillon started a solo project under "R-Wan" pseudonym. The album is called "Radio Cortex".

Singer-songwriter Scott Freiberger, who released the album "I Love Taiwan" in the democratic Republic of China (Taiwan) around the year 1999. The album contains songs in English, Mandarin (Chinese), Japanese and Taiwanese. A video for the song "Sunflower" was produced as well, and was broadcast nationally on television and radio on Taiwan.

A short-lived instrumental post-metal/hardcore band from Gävle, Sweden, that existed for less than a year during 1996. No live shows were ever given, however they did record some of their progress on a 4-track cassette porta, which was later released as a CD by Dead Birds Records.

Java, an alias for Oliver Lieb & Amir Abadi. 90s German trance.

A jazz band.

A reggae band from Aracaju (the capital of Sergipe, the smallest state of Brazil).
