Young Jesus is an American art rock band from Los Angeles, CA. Comprising Cody Kellogg (lead guitar), Peter Martin (drums), Shawn Nystrand (bass), and John Rossiter (guitar/vox), and influenced by The National, Alkaline Trio, Arcade Fire, The Hold Steady, Brand New, and Titus Andronicus (to name a few), the band released their first full-length album in 2015 titled Grow/Decompose on Gigantic Noise Records. In 2017, Young Jesus released their second full-length album titled S/T on Saddle Creek Records. In October 2018, Young Jesus released their third full-length album titled The Whole Thing is Just There on Saddle Creek Records.
